ENTERPRISE CLASS?
Enterprise class hardware? Do budget providers utilize enterprise class hardware, and why is this important anyway? In theory, dedicated servers are engineered to withstand significantly more stress than their desktop counterparts, so this should translate into lower time between failures, which translates to fewer trips to the parts department and consequently, less downtime.
How would you know if your prospective web hosting provider uses enterprise class hardware, and does that only matter depending on your specific application.

Yes absolutely and realistically there isn't much way you could tell, you rely on their honesty and put trust in them and it just boils down to the good old saying 'if its too good to be true...'

I would keep it at that - in theory. At entry to mid level, the difference is a chaos.
Enterprise class (some call it data center grade) hardware has one thing in common - durability. Desktops are suitable for faster throughputs in short bursts.
Unfortunately, if you have a shared or reseller hosting, there is no way to verify whether you are on data center grade hardware. If you have a VPS, you might be able to guess, based on your experience.
If you have a dedicated server and you can't tell, you should downgrade to reseller█||||[ MechanicWeb.com - Shared Hosting | Reseller Hosting | KVM VPS | Dedicated Server ]

First of all, when you say budget providers it really depends on the price. I would say budget providers under 6$ then yes almost impossible to use enterprise/datacenter rated hardware. At least impossible to sustain a business in my opinion.
For you to know what kind of hardware they provider is running kinda hard. Here honestly really play a good role. I think to provide good reliable and trustworthy hosting services you really need these datacenter rated hardware like ECC ram, Xeon, SSD datacenter rated, etc. In the end you still charging the customer for it. If your customer segment is the one who care for their data they will pay the premium for the service.█ HowTekno | Go Public
