Need Recommendation about hosting
I'm still a beginner at web hosting, But I'm curious to know, sorry if this is the wrong forum to post this question.
I'm using shared host, a month ago my site got 8k visitor/day it was fine, but this month it's almost reach 10k to 12k/day but everyday at random hour my cpu usage reached 99% that make me and visitor hard to access my site.
Do I need to upgrade to VPS or semi dedicated to not get cpu usage overlimit? The bandwidth data based on cloudflare was 190-250gb/month.
English is not my mother tongue; please excuse any errors on my part.

If it is getting slow on shared hosting, then you reached the limit.
It is time to upgrade.

Why upgrade to VPS and not upgrade the plan to include more CPU/memory instead?
There is a lot more overhead/maintenance involved with VPS over usual Shared/Web hosting.

You should upgrade to higher hosting plan where you will get more CPU and Memory, If it's full-fill your requirements else upgrade to VPS and get dedicated resources of the server and performance.

Thanks for the reply, in hawkhost there is no option to include more cpu/memory in their shared hosting, only in semi dedicated server there is option 2 full cores with 2gb ram.
it's just this month it seems my cpu usage always reach 99% with 5 min to 1 hour sometimes it's reached almost 2 hour, and cpu resources been limited to my site. So I guess I need to upgrade the hosting or else I am losing the visitor because my site been unreacheable/down.

Please first make sure your CMS, themes and plugins are up to date. Also, check the site via https://gtmetrix.com or Google network tools to see if the waterfall shows any think abnormal which may be causing delays with the page loading, and thus also causing high resource usage.
If the provider using LiteSpeed, it should be able to handle concurrent connections very well.
Best to check such issues first. If all looks ok there, then there may be a real need to increase the CPU/mem.

Hello, I see on gt metrix my site, I'm using bootstrap theme,
Defer parsing of JavaScript is 17 and Leverage browser caching is 56.
I intend to using a new theme with a good parsing javascript and caching but it's not ready yet at my current situation.
I notice the problem rising when my visitor going up almost 25-34% than last month, the server sometimes throttle because I'm reaching a cpu usage limit.
Thank you, I'm still beginner at this thing, So I guess I have to upgrade to semi dedicated hosting.
Sorry for my bad english

You can see it by looking at your access logs, but really your hosting company has access to the proper tools and they should be helping you with this. If they can't keep your site running smoothly then you should be looking for a new host (or learning how to manage a VPS yourself, which is what I did, and it solved my problem).

It's my first time build a website, 1 year 4 months, I even give up in halfway about 4-6 months because no visitor coming, then I try again with result beyond expectation than I even predicted till this wall hit me and I searching google but no solution came up.
I open 3 tickets about this and The hosting tell me it's neither my theme (which probably the most suspect),or plugin for 3 times with same word and word again. So It's kinda make me frustrated.

If you're still in the beginner area, without too much knowledge on WHM and cPanel (backend knowledge).
I'd suggest getting a larger plan, maybe even ask for a reseller plan (they usually have higher resources, even if you're not using it for reselling)
Put in a ticket to your hosting provider about an extra core and some extra ram. Maybe some extra IOP/S too.

Never choose VPS as a beginner, it will be very very frustrating, upgrade the plan to semi dedicated then. Although my other suggestion for you would be to check other hosting providers that actually provide more resources in their shared hosting plans, migrating shouldn't be a huge bother.

Its time for you to move to the VPS hosting and in-turn generate revenue for that website. So you just choose an affordable plan and migrate as soon as possible.

A VPS with as much RAM, vCPUs and bandwidth as you can should be sufficient for your requirements. Although with you having no server admin experience it will be best to get a VPS with management with a control panel like cPanel or DirectAdmin.

You should upgrade to VPS then if such things keep reoccurring, and your english is good, don't worry.

"but this month it's almost reach 10k to 12k/day"
With this type of traffic, it would be better for you to transfer the site to an inexpensive dedicated server. In this case, your site will always be available to visitors and the server cost will not be much more expensive than your shared hosting.
By the way, how much do you pay for your shared hosting?
