MDDHosting are worth every penny for their customer service
I don't usually bother to write reviews, but once in a while, a company comes along that really stands head and shoulders above everyone else, and you just have to tell someone. MDDHosting is one of these companies.
I've used a number of different web hosts over the years, but switched to MDDHosting in 2011 after reading some very positive reviews. I'm always slightly skeptical about how biased reviews can be, but Michael and his team have exceeded my expectations over and over again.
The primary factor I look for is customer service, because if you have a problem, you need it fixed fast. In this, they excel. I've logged 29 support tickets in the last 5 years, so I've had the pleasure of talking to a number of the support staff as well as with the boss, Michael. Replies to support requests are fast, even outside of normal working hours, and they're always incredibly helpful even if it's not their problem. That alone is worth every penny, and after a recent nightmare experience with DomainMonster's customer support, I've come to value MDD's service even more.
Every web host runs into issues from time to time, but MDDHosting are very transparent when there are rare hiccups. They explain exactly what's happening and what they're doing to fix it, rather than leaving you in the dark, which means you can trust them to sort it out without having to chase them. That's so much better for my stress levels!
I also love the fact that they run promotions for existing customers. Most companies just do discounts for new customers, and existing customers miss out, but not MDDHosting. I always take advantage of their special discount weekends to top up my account balance, so I don't think I've ever had to pay full price to renew.
I feel valued as a customer, and it's a rare company today that makes you feel that way. So if you're looking for new hosting, or if you're not absolutely thrilled with your existing host, I would highly recommend looking at MDDHosting's hosting options. Just don't all rush at once, because I don't want them getting toooooo busy!

Well done @MDDHosting, indeed. It's nice to see reviews that are positive for a change. Perhaps there should be a new column on The Whir and those newsletters we get that is just dedicated to the positive experiences users (and providers because we all get our services from somewhere) have.

I can only confirm every single word of what said by OP, @MikeDVB and his team are absolutely awesome and the service is almost - you get the usual hiccups that happens to all providers, like small downtimes and such - perfect.

It's always good to see positive reviews about companies. We mostly post reviews when we are not satisfied with our hosting providers, but don't write a word when these guys try their best to solve our problems.
