Just purchased this deal, looking forward to seeing how the service is. Do you have any up time guarantee? I didn't seem to see one on the website.

I just set up an order, waiting for someone to look it over; looks like a very useful deal. I hope I can get this setup today to play with, what do you think Aaron?

I have had a server with Aaron since 2008 and I don't remember any unscheduled down time.
Aaron, I think I need to upgrade to that Xeon deal with a drive upgrade. I submitted a support ticket about it. Of course I noticed this on the last day of the month and after updating my CC info in support.

I got two of the 5420s already, very nice servers. Just in time too, going to get another two more as I'm ramping up on something. Support has been very fast, got response within 10 minutes. Looks like ipmi deployment is a bit delayed according to support, but coming very soon. Will do a review after a month. Thanks for the deals Aaron!

It took about 24 hours to get mine, but I guess it all depends how many orders are coming in and when you place your order.

For those of you using the servers as gameservers (or anything else highly sensitive to latency) do you get slowdowns at peak hours or any issues like that, or is it smooth sailing?
Also I see there is a $150/month upgrade for unmetered 1gbps. At that price, it is very likely shared bandwidth (as dedicated is usually substantially more expensive), so curious how much you are allowed to push without issue.
Eg, let's say you needed a ton of bandwidth. Theoretically could you get say 20 of these deals and have 20 servers each pushing 100mbps 24/7 and thus be doing 2gbps or at some point I'd assume you are on more expensive bandwidth plans?

What gameservers are you planning on running? I have a minecraft, NS2, & TF2 server up primarily and some other games on random times.
Honestly, the network is the thing I expected to be iffy with these deals but it's not. I'd seriously try the new deal out at least, it's 39$ and you'll get to test the network yourself, but I can say my gameservers have been fine.

I'm developing a custom game for tablets. It is still aways off :p so really mostly just curious in terms of estimating the budget.
It will have higher bandwidth requirements than most games since each instance will have possibly 100 players, so am mostly interested in the bandwidth side of things. CPU is important to some degree too, but for disk IO and memory it barely uses any.
btw haven't played TF2 in a while, but I was addicted to that game for about a year I mostly played medic + engineer.
