Toolbars
Several web browsers have toolbars available to download. Once installed, they appear near the top of the screen when the browser is open. Each toolbar has its own set of features, and users can add buttons to customize theirs. Some toolbars are listed on this page.
Google Toolbar
Google Toolbar works with Internet Explorer and Firefox (with different versions for each). A partial list of features:
- Search engine search box
- PageRank display
- Bookmarks
- Subscribe to feeds
- Google account sign-in
Some features are available in only Internet Explorer or Firefox.
Yahoo Toolbar
Yahoo Toolbar is also available for Internet Explorer and Firefox. Some features:
- Spyware protection
- Bookmarks
- Yahoo mail alerts
