Pubcon overview
PubCon is a conference and trade show for web professionals and website owners. It focuses on these areas:
- Search engine and Internet optimization, marketing, advertising, and usage
- Best practices in online design, development, and promotion
- Website (including e-commerce websites) and domain management
PubCon is producted by WebmasterWorld Incorporated and grew from user group meetings in the late 1980s. The first conference was held in London, England, in 2000. It has taken place two or three times a year from 2002 on, sometimes in London, and sometimes in US cities.
Past conferences
- PubCon 2006 attracted over 2100 attendees.
- PubCon 2007 attracted more attendees than in 2006.
Future conferences
- PubCon Vegas 2008 is scheduled for November 11 to 14 in Las Vegas, Nevada.
