PHP Live!
PHP Live is a web-based chat program used to interface with visitors to a company website. They have a one-time license fee, which makes it much less expensive than some competing products. A stand-alone add-on, which can be installed on operators' Windows systems, allows a small pop-up to appear when a user requests a chat.
The program allows many simultaneous operators, chat logs, department groups, and several other features that make it a very rich program. Visitor IPs can be shown when they visit the website, and referring pages are listed to show which pages the visitor has clicked through on your website.
It has a knowledgebase feature that can be used to help answer visitors' questions as well as forward unanswered chat requests to an e-mail for later follow-up.
Tracking URLs can be added to your website to better understand visitor patterns although better analytics programs (like Google) will probably do a better job of this.
