DarkStar Communications
DarkStar Communications was founded in 2002 by Brett Guarnieri and Chris Childers, orginally as a shell and IRCd hosting provider. When Ventrilo and Teamspeak hosting emerged in the first 12 months of the company's operation, a shift was quickly made to make voice communications the company's focus, growing into the online gaming community. DarkStar has been licensed by Flagship Industries as an official Ventrilo provider as well as Triton & Associates for Teamspeak.
On January 1st, 2007, the principles behind DarkStar Communications joined with the company's Chicago and Dallas server provider - Ubiquity Server Solutions - to form Nobis Technology Group. Currently, DarkStar Communications provides its voice hosting services on five continents and to a base of more than 400,000 Ventrilo and Teamspeak users each day; as what the company describes as the Internet's largest Ventrilo and Teamspeak network.
