Co-location is the hosting of servers and/or other network equipment in a datacenter, using a co-location company's space and network.

Co-location (or telehousing) is storing your server equipment in a purpose built facility along with hundreds of other servers. The facility is managed to provide reliable networking, power and security.

Datacenter space is typically available in the following units:

Bandwidth/connection rental

Co-location bandwidth is generally billed 95th percentile and is purchased per the megabit/second.
