Hi,
Have received about half a dozen spam mails from this company in the last few weeks - anyone know anything about them ?
Reported to spamcop etc.
Cheers, Lee

colohosts :: why you should avoid them
i do not know about colohosts as a webhost as i am not a customer. they look to be a small-potatoes reseller.
but from the fact that they have sent me spam (unsolicited email) twice in as many days, it's clear they really want my business.
this is not the way to do business, and i know most people posting on here agree that sending out unsolicited email to get customers is dirty pool, and will usually earn you the ire of any serious recipient.
so avoid colohosts at all cost--don't reward spammers.

I've received at least two (one today) spam emails from this company also. Appearantly they're garnering names off of WHT since there seems to be so many of us getting spam from them off of this forum.

I had been getting spam from them but I sent them a nasty email and also emailed their provider, so far so good, they've been leaving me alone.

Anyone reported the spam to their uplink yet? I've heard he.net is fairly spam friendly/tolerant.Myles Loosley-Millman - admin@prioritycolo.com

I got their message too, but to my personal/professional email address, not the one I used here. Ironically, I just registerd a domain name within the past 4 days at that email address .... so needless to say .... it's the registry that i went through that gave out my email (though I unclicked the box asking "do you want 3rd party retailers contacting you").

Spam I can handle. It's when someone tries to send me a virus with it that really pees me off, whether as an attachment or a link.exe
