cpanel smtp_tweak and apf firewall
Does anyone know if there any hard and fast rule changes that should be made to apf for mail to function properly wth the cpanel smtp_tweak enabled?
Or does it vary such that you have to enable the tweak, see what it does and compensate for it?
Thanks,

The mail tweak works fine with apf. If you change the smtp port just make sure and add the port in the conf.apf

That is not true. Here is the reason: Apf wipes out iptables before it loads its own rules, when this happens, the mail tweak rules get wiped out... therefore the mail tweak is not working. And then cpanel reloads it.... so it works now.. but whats this? apf reloads its rules once again daily and the mail tweak is gone again.Steven Ciaburri | Industry's Best Server Management - Rack911.com

So can apf be modified so that the smtp_tweak will function as it was intended to?
