Hi,

I have 2 of the follow servers with AMD processors for sale.

These were recently given to us as "extras" from an acquisition of a company that had spare hardware.

We have no use for AMD based configs so we're going to sell them.

Payment:
I am willing to accept payment via www.Escrow.com. (They accept credit card, bank/wire, PayPal, etc.) If we do it via Escrow, I will be responsible for all Escrow fees.

*Why Escrow? I believe Escrow would be safe for both parties (the buyer and the seller). As the funds you pay to Escrow.com are held by them until I deliver a verified tracking number. Once you receive tracking then you can release the funds to me so you make sure that you will get the equipment and hardware you paid for.

If not Escrow, I am also willing to accept Bank Transfer, Wire Transfer, Western Union. I am flexible. I just recommend Escrow for people who wish to have a safer transaction especially when dealing with higher volume purchases.

What model Opteron is that?

It's a AMD Opteron 2356

Do you know how many RAM slots that Altus 1650SA has? I looked up the specs, but cannot find the actual number of RAM slots.

Also, are the drives hotswap? Will the mobo take a second processor? Any idea on how much power it uses?

The data sheet can be found here:

It supports up to 48GB DDR2-667 DIMMs, but it doesn't say exactly how many slots the mobo has. But the server has only 8GB right now, so there is plenty of room for expansion.

It does indeed support a second Opteron processor.

The drives are hotswap as well. The server draws approx 1amp.
