Can't connect to VPS via Remote Desktop

I'm hoping somebody can help me with this issue. I have two VPS accounts (two different providers). I can connect to both of them great at home, but when I go to my friend's house, I can't connect to either of them.

Since it's the same computer I use at home, I don't think it would be a firewall issue. I do have a wireless router - could the problem be with that? I have been messing around with this all day and can't figure out how to add a port to my router.

Any ideas?

Thanks!

Very possible the ISP blocks the port for RDP.

As SC-D said it could be the ISP you'll have to check with them and see if they are blocking (if your friends ISP is different then yours).

So you use the same PC at both places? Does your friend's house have a wireless router or are you using the same one at both locations? For the router just go to the support page for the manf. of the router they should be able to help you out. Check this out too: http://portforward.com/
