That's a rough one. You might look up dacom (sp?). They're a telecom provider in Nigeria. They might have an answer for you. Nigeria is a little light on the infrastructure requirements to support a datacenter.

I'm in Nigeria and i run a hosting business. I've never heard of any datacenter in Nigeria. Most Nigerian hosts have their data center located outside Nigeria because of the epileptic power supply over here.

Did the order happen to come from a Nigerian prince?
On a serious note, if you are looking for low ping to Nigeria, how about trying out European providers located geographically near(er) to Nigeria?
eg. France, Italy, Spain.

You have a myopic impression of Nigerians. If you've never been to Nigeria it's better you hold your peace. Instead of insultation a country you know next to nothing about. And for your information i don't see how those countries you named are close to Nigeria.

Perhaps a VPS in Egypt would give a half decent ping? I know CityNet Host have Egyptian servers and are quite cheap (too cheap at times :p )

It was meant as a joke
Unfortunately, Nigeria's reputation of a country with a high rate of fraud and organized crime is pretty deep, and not without reason.

I merely suggested European countries close to Nigeria.

Portugal and UK may be a better bet.
I doubt there is an overland cable that goes to Nigeria from Egypt over the Sahara.

Actually Egypt doesn't make any sense...
Cables coming from Nigeria (and Africa) enter Europe in Portugal and Spain, from the western side, or from the Eastern side, they enter in Marseille, France.

For Nigeria, look for Portugal, Spain or UK hosts.

As I'd expected, because most major exchanges likely lie in Europe.
Thanks for the map link, that's the first time I've seen it and is really useful when trying to geotarget my audience.
