Best TV?

It's been awhile since I've bought a new TV. I found two that caught my eye. An LG 42LD550 and a Sharp LC-42LE620UT. I was wondering what your experiences were with each brand and what you would recommend.

I've never bought anything except Sony's in the pass, but was amazed by the sharpness of my new LG monitor here in the office. That is the other reason I was looking at the LG while the Sharp is already running on the new LED technology.

Both are originally $1000 range and on sale for about $650ish.

I recently bought a ViewSonic 42" LCD TV and like it very much. Got mine at Office Depot. Also bought an extended warranty at SquareTrade.com, about which I've read many rave reviews on Amazon.
