YardVPS

Just wondering.

Has anyone else bought one of their 15/yr vps? If so, how long did it take to get it up and running?

Thanks!

I kinda thought so. I signed up last night to give it a try however, I never gotten the IP nor the login information sent to me. I have checked and rechecked the emails I have gotten.. Nothing with the information I need to access the VPS. Am I over looking something? I also checked my spam filter just in case! Payment did complete! I even have the payment confirmation email!

My Order Number: 7472989640 if it helps any. I did create a ticket on it.. and the reply I got back 3hrs later was.... It was already emailed to me.. sadly I don't have it.

Any idea?

Thanks!

Hi,

If they use WHCMS , you can login to their Billing (& Ticket) system (your email + the password you gave them when you signed up) and check the EMAILS. Usually there is a email list that have been sent to you by the host ,so you can see all emails.

I tried that already as well. Nothing there about the VPS ip. Only thing I got was the address to login to WHMCS, which I can do fine!

Please contact us via support next time. Some of our technicians do not monitor these boards and its unfair to use the public to get them to assist you when they do not know how our infrastructure is setup. Their feedback can sometime be mis-leading and do not always lead to a resolution that you will be satisfy with.

I understand however, I did send in a ticket... waited 3 hours to get. we sent you the information already!

Granted you maybe behind in checking tickets out, due to the low price VPS. However, after stating I did not get the email I was suppose to get. I would have figured at that point, one would have checked to see if it was really sent to me! In my case, it wasn't.

And yes I know it's a budget VPS! SO I know hardly any support, which I am ok with.

Once again, thanks for fixing the issue.

@sh33pz

This issue is really something that should have been handled directly with the host. These forums are NOT a means to get support from hosts. To be honest waiting three hours for a response on a VPS you're paying $15/year for is extremely reasonable (as is waiting a day or two).

Ya and a ticket was created and sent to get it fixed before I even asked the GENERAL PUBLIC.

BUT

I asked others how long they had to wait? I didn't know I should be creating a ticket to the host to find that out...

I think the whole issue is... some people don't read! If they did!
I wouldn't have to reply to them wink wink

As for a means of support..

If the same person who handled my ticket replied to a request I was asking the general public, gave me an answer, I am sure as heck going to ask them why I didn't get the information I was suppose to and that I PAID for already... even more so after waiting for 3 hours to hear..... "We already sent it to you".

I know if I gotten an customer complaining they didn't get the information. I'm sure I would check to be sure it was sent!

Either or, After YardVPS manually sent the information! Everything worked out.

Can this thread be close?

Thank you!
