Worldstream Ignore me..


Hi all I have purchase the server yesterday at worldstream.nl
And I forgot to add the WHM/cPanel to my order. after order compleate I see the cPanel not purchased..So after couple hours I contact their support not recive the respond and contact the billing also no respond and after waiting for some hours I email again their support and then I got replay that said

"Hi,

The invoice will be sent within a few hours. You can start install cPanel now!"

and then I try install my self I follow step by step at cpanel.net
at the first it gone very good and after 1 hour i got this:

. . . . .
. . . . .
. . . . .
. . . . .

and more like this again and again about 1 hour and more.. is this normal the dot dot dot dot this? so I think I got error..I have wait for too long.and then I contact the support to help me install this WHM/cPanel but I don't recive any respond till now.I have email them for mor than 5 times.. why Worldstream ignore me like this..If you concern a little more about costumer problems we belive worldstream will best in future..

Hope Worldstream understand my pain...

That is completely normal. The installation is still running. cPanel can take about 2 hours to install on some dedicated servers. Just be patient and let it run.

Yeah it will take a little bit to install it.. Go eat lunch/dinner and it will probably be done after you get back..

If you have a lower end dedicated or one with limited RAM it will take even longer.

Depending on how they handle tickets emailing multiple times can be the cause of your problem. Most companies handle tickets be how old they are, oldest ones get most priority. Every time you respond you are probably bouncing your ticket to the end of the que.

While I am a big believer of allowing your host the time to correct sn issue , and as previously mentioned cPanel in notorious for taking a long time to install. You mentioned you failed to ask for cPanel when you placed your order. I know at Hivelocity we use a special portioning scheme for cPanel servers, so requesting cPanel after the fact would result in us reloading your box to meet those partitioning requirements of cPanel , a reload and the install of cPanel could take a few hours. if you do not get satisfaction within 24 hrs I would ask for my money back and move on to the next host.

Worldstream is unmanaged though so it's not in their service to help with installation of software.. I would ask them to re-provision the server with CPanel instead of doing it yourself
