Hardware Stress Test?

Does anyone know any good software I can run on one of my servers for a stress test. Its been acting up a bit and want to get to the root of the issue.

Thanks
Ed

Ed,

I have used this before and have had good luck with it. Pretty simple to use and can certainly put a beating on a server.

prime95 torture test is also available for linux' kernels, and it's called "mprime" (v25.11 is the most current one):
http://mersenneforum.org/gimps/mprime2511.tar.gz (32-bit)
http://mersenneforum.org/gimps/mprim...linux64.tar.gz (64-bit)

prime95/mprime has been around for ages, and it's considered to be industry gold standard for stress test. however, I don't believe it can stress test HDDs/arrays...
