They seem to be around the industry for quite a while by their whois. I haven't heard of them, I hope things go well with them for you.

I'm always very wary of buyouts/merges. It's completely your call if you want to stay, as I do not know your history with the host. Based on my experience usually it's a terrible several months for the transition and you may end up with a worse support team, slack server maintenance.
If you do stay, please come back and update us in a few months to let us know how it is going.
*Note that this is based on my history of 1 buyout and 1 merge, I have no experience with HostMonkey.net or webRulon.com*

Never heard of webrulon, but from visiting their site, it looks like they're more of a web developer. They probably acquired HostMonkey to expand their hosting market share.
