Accepting credit card payments

I occassionally (few times per year) do some freelance graphic work and would like to be paid online.

Is there any payment provider who I could use to collect simply credit card payments online, clear the payment and deposit money into my bank on an very occasional basis? Simply a processor, with no/low set-up charges and NO recurring monthly payments, who charges a % per transaction - not to bothered about how long I have to wait, provding it not greater than 4/5 weeks.

Not interested in the auction-gateways of Paypal et al and must cover International non-US based accounts. I don't have a merchant account.

Thanks for any help or pointers.

Chuck.

I can recommend you 2checkout.com.
there's a $49 set up fee. but there are no monthly fees.

Although more Software-centric but you could use Regsoft.com . No set up, no monthly and they do accept a bunch of international credit cards too.

Check out http://www.payquake.com -- I have never used them but I have heard good things about them. They charge 50 $ a year. If you use them pm me and tell me how they are

Thanks for the feedback.

I'm aware of 2checkout.com and I'll check out the other two but first impressions of payquake would make me shy away - 'spam' posts here by person involved in them make for a bad smell.

Cheers,

C.

Do a search on 2checkout ... you'll find a lot of negative feed back. Personally, I would not go near 2co from what I've read on this forum.

PaySystems.com is very very good from the clients point of view IMHO.

Don't go with 2checkout - you might find your fees refunded if the customer contacts them to tell you what a fine job you did. Oooops, the customer wanted a refund for that good service, and its only been 6 months - yes sir! Right away!
