Hello,
I am searching for a Hoster who can host my server with 10 GBit uplink and 20 TB Traffik per month.
My server has 4HE and need between 4 and 5 Amper Power.
If u can handle this server, tell me...
Only wanted locations within ~2500 KM round NL without:
OVH
DE
LU
Best regards
Walter Petzler

If you are only doing 20 TB why do you need a 10 gbps uplink?

Are those peaks, added in the whole month, longer than 32h? If no, there is a chance someone will sell you that. If yes, then I am sorry to say it will be almost impossible to have this size port at this small commitment with all that bursting.

We use at the moment with 6 * 1 GBit uplink 12 TB Traffik.
We have upgraded the server for the future with an Intel 10 Gigabit AF DA Dual Port Server Adapter. We do not use all the bandwith at the moment, but we are expanding our bussiness and we don`t want to upgrade every half year. So we pay at the moment into the future and whatever the future brings to us, we can handel it with our server.
I don`t want to hear what u not can or what u scares. I need a price and we have enough money to pay sometihing I want. Other providers like OVH sell this lines but not in colocation. And I don`t want to rent a server when I have one that costs over 6000€.

OK, but then you must be comfortable with the fact that you'll have to pay for a full 10Gbps uplink (as if it goes through 32h a month, a carrier/transit provider will bill you for the whole 10Gbps no matter how much you used the rest of the month; that is the 95th % method) for around between US$ 10000 and US$ 50000/mo depending on carrier and bandwidth quality. Plus, initial setup costs will be higher (around as much as US$ 5000 if not more) as 10Gbps ports are still way more expensive than multiple 1Gbps ports (routing and optical equipment for 10GE are still at a high price).

When You'vtoe upgraded the server, did you consult with anybody? Cisco is using Xen-Pack for 10 Gb/s ports - is your card compatible with that? We are in US so we are not good for you (because you want EU hoster), but we only provide Xen-pack based 10 Gb/s ports. Usually it connected to customer's network equipment and then customer is dealing with the connectivity between the network device and the server(s).
Also, have you thought about a backup server? What if main one will go down? During the event?

Cisco _used_ xenpaks. they also use X2 modules and now finally adapting to XFP's.

Budget?
As you excluded Germany it will be hard to get that unless you want Netherlands - Leaseweb and Swiftway come to mind in NL.
Others would be Inode in Austria, Telia/Bahnhof in Sweden, Arnes in Slovenia and Cogent in any InterXion facility in Europe.

I don`t want to tell how much, because I want transparent and honest offers, not such like... "u have 5000€ then I can offer u this...." for example.
I know it is not cheap and I dont want it for 500€ or something...

Hosts cannot offer you anything in this Forum here anyway.
And 5000€.... are most likely not even enough for 1000Mbit outside of NL/DE....
Leaseweb/Swiftway is your best bet if you want it Cheap
Cogent will be cheap too, but Singlehomed (to Cogent, duh).
Inode will be expensive, but they can provide BW in a wide range of Locations from Austria over Slovakia and Czech Rep. till Ireland.
