Hello,
I have encountered strange problem of ffmpeg
Ffmpeg working fine in ssh console...

but its not working in my php script.

I am using extesinon method to load extension

$extension = "ffmpeg";

$extension_soname = $extension . "." . PHP_SHLIB_SUFFIX;

$extension_fullname = PHP_EXTENSION_DIR . "/" . $extension_soname;

and echo exec('ffmpeg function to convert file


can you please suggest solution to solve this problem

Did you install the development libraries?

yum install ffmpeg ffmpeg-devel

i have installed all related modules ffmpeg,ffmpeg devel, its codecs, ffmpeg-php

What version of php are you running?

Check if ffmpeg-module is being loaded when you issue

#php -m

I have tried another script of conversion its making 0 byets files in conversion

ffmpeg is now installed properly(all other conversions are working fine,except avi to 3gp) but one problem is still there
avi to 3gp conversion is not working

what would be the problem?

Sorry for not being able to help you more, and for your 3gp issue, run this:
ffmpeg -formats | grep amr

Amr enables 3gp support, post here the output of that command.
