WTB: Core2Duo/i3/Dual Core Atoms

We have a HUGE need for these types of boxes. Which is great for those companies who are investing in the Quads, and Xeons and looking to unload their used stock. If you have a lot of these beauties and looking to sell off some of your Dual Core servers, feel free to post up in the thread with what you've got or contact me directly.

We are looking to purchase hundreds over the next 3-6 months to fill our growing demands.

Thanks buddy.

One thing I should mention is, most of the configuration my Dual Core guys go with are as follows.

Core2Duo/Atom/i3 with 2-4GB RAM, 250GB HDD/10MBit

I mention this because some who have contacted me have monster Core2Duo with a ton of RAM, and hard drive space, and things of that nature, which is good. But for the clients I need to buy in bulk for, I can get by with smaller RAM/HDD's.

So does that mean you are not interested in the servers and pricing I sent via PM?

My theory is that you are getting more server for the same price so why not buy? You could always offer the ones you bought as a special price to any higher end customers that needed them.

I was explaining the configuration on those boxes. Meaning, I do not need 1 GBPS ports, 16GB RAM, 2TB drives in RAID 1, and so on. For what most clients I have for those boxes, they need very generic set ups with minimal resources.

I hear you foo.

I sent your offer to my support guys to look over. So they may, or may not, be interested depending on what else we find on the market.

Ok well I guess you want dedicated servers then, not to actually buy the hardware so you can colocate it.

I didn't think my question was so complicated

It appears to be clear to everyone else who has sent me PM's with what I am looking for here. Hardware, as specified, to buy and put in our own colo. You're right. It was straight forward, and not complicated at all. As proven by many who have sent me their various stock for sale. It is a very simple request. If you are selling the hardware I need. Let me know how many you have, and prices.

Seems only you are confused here.

I don't know. I think I am fairly logical. It looked like you just wanted hardware, but then

As previously mentioned, I basically let people know the current configuration for these boxes we are selling out at 30-40+ a week. They do not need huge hard drives, nor 1GBPS port cards, etc.. Fairly simple boxes, and pushing 10MBit bandwidth. When these clients go up to 100MBit, they typically will move to a QuadCore at the same time.

Which was what I was getting at. Minimal RAM, HDD, and port needed in DualCore/Atom/Core2Duo/i3 hardware.

It's clear enough I'd guess.
