Thrust VPS / Damn VPS LA down?

Can't seem to reach my VPS in the Thrust/Damn VPS center in LA.

Can't boot it, it's unreachable via traceroute, etc.

Anyone else?

Yes, I have contacted their support. Been down for a couple of hours now, and support has said they are looking into it. That's about it.

I'm new to the VPS world -- what is a normal response time.

Just wondering if others are experiencing the downtime, or if it's just me. Misery loves company, right?

i would expect anything within 1-2 hours responce and 3 hours fix.

How do uptime guarantees work? They say 99.9% -- is that monthly?

I would think so. Do they have such a guarantee?

We have a single vz node down that is having hardware diags. Email was sent to all effected users a few hours ago

It finally came back on last night.

Support was ok -- they sent emails and answered the tickets.

Very frustrating, though.

It is down again today. Seems like a daily event. Looking at the monitor link posted above, I am unlucky enough to be on the one node that has had daily downtime. I am hoping this current outage is fixed soon.

Back online now. Just bad luck, I think. I was on the one node that kept failing. Let's hope it's ok now.
