Looking for HW supplier in Fremont.
hi there
need HW supplier in Fremont.
i'll need SuperMicro servers. ~10 servers per month.
prefer local supplier for easier bad HW replacements. servers will be colocated at Hurricane Electric FMT-II DC.

Bad HW will usually have to be RMA'ed to the manufacturer. You will have expenses in keeping spare hardware in stock.
Trying to make the server builder replace your HW themselves will just result in increased server costs to you. Cheaper to just stock a few spare HDDs, motherboards, and PSU.
And RMA the bad ones.

I buy my SM from Atacom which is up off of Automall, and 10mins from HE FMT2 on 880. I'm local so I just do will-call and save on any delivery/shipping to the facility.

We use Bonavio - Brian Shin is the President there, great prices and free delivery to FMT2.
He will also cover 12 month on site warranty on all hardware.

Heh, I thought you were going to post your accountant's details - usually get better deals straight from a rep and if you have a referral take you more seriously.
