Hello I was going to buy a dedicated server but before I do I would like to ask if this is a good server to host game servers off of?

Specs:
Plan: Core2Quad i7 860
CPU: Core i7 860
RAM: 8GB RAM
OS: Linux

and if this is a good datacenter.

I would like everyone in the us/canada to get a good connection. I would be running counter strike, l4d, etc maybe you guys could tell me how many slots it could run (estimated)

Hi again Shane,

Network might be a little weak, but the server itself seems great. What you can actually run on it though depends on the ticrate, slots, bots, etc. If you provide what your plans are I can give you an idea.

What are you using the server for. The i7 is a great cpu server, a few more details would be good to help determine the final answer. At first glance the server itself looks strong.
