I'm using Cpanel with linux an I need to point a dns for a domain to a windows server.
I need to know how to point a dns of a domain. I was requested to point 99cast.com which is a domain on my server to 65.39.220.4 (a windows server) so the domain can be user under windows. How do I do that?

You will need to make an A dns record.

If its a sub domain go into WHM and make an:
A record for subdomain and point it to 65.39.220.4
make another www.subdomain and point it to 65.39.220.4 if required.

If its the whole domain replace your IP with 65.39.220.4, there should be 2 entries you need to change the FTP and the domain entry.
If your just hosting the dns for the domain and they want to be able to make subdomains on the Win server make an A record for *.domain. and point to 65.39.220.4
