WHMCS reducing pricing

This has be shocked. I am using the 15 day free trial till I can get paid to get my hosting service up and going. This is what is shocking me.

When I go thru the system as if I am a new client. The pricing is showing correctly on the site. Now, when I place the item in my cart before. I is reducing the price by a dollar. Has anyone had this happen to them? If so, how did you fix it?

The OP is talking about tesing his own order system, not ordering from WHMCS - "When I go thru the system as if I am a new client..."

----------------

Have never seen this across multiple versions. First, I would sugest to check all of your pricing settings.

Thats so funny I was under impression WHMCS lowered their cost and why would whmcs lower their cost as already they are offering at economical cost.

lol thanks Gorf. Here is an example of what is happening.

I go to place my order and I choose the 12 month plan which is priced at 17.40. I add plan to my cart. When I go to my cart to review what it is there. I shows the correct plan, just a dollar off at 16.40. I am lost as to what is causing this. I have looked over all my settings and nothing is out of place.

When I first set up I had the same issue, I believe. The pricing is incorrectly set up as having -1 for the setup fees, I'd bet. Setup fees should be 0.00 if there aren't any and only the products get -1 for those that don't apply.

I think that is why it is doing that. I did not think of that.

Go to Setup -> Products/Services -> Pricing

If setup is no charge, make sure Setup Fee is set to 0.00 and not -1.00

Only prices that are not used are set to -1.00

(battery was going dead while starting to reply, so Bear beat me to it!!)

There is no setup fee for any of the plans. I have not changed those at all. They are still set at 0.00

Are you using the pro-rated option? That would knock a dollar off at this point in the month.

Come to think about it. I may have that turned on. I will have to look and about that in the morning. Got to get some sleep for work.

Where is the pro-rated option at?

@JFOC

I think that I was talking about pro-rata billing. It is under products/services, and then pricing.
