Yep you could just jump on 21 there to 20 since your in Clifton
Microcenter right in the good heart of Paterson NJ
Now that I am looking, there sold out at that location...

I heard that the i7 line in general are power hogs as compared to say an x3450. They use a lot more power for just a slight increase in performance (a few percentage at best).

Some places power is no big deal, I know a DC in VA who could do 60A 208V per cabinet for the rest of their space and have way more capacity left.. heh.

Not sure where you get this... the 860s and 870s are 73w tdp and at idle are around .75 amp... that's pretty low, unless you go specifically for a lower wattage processor. The i7 900s are more around 135w tdp.
