Webhosting Team Page
I think that it is great that some webhosting providers have a "Meet the Team" page. IMHO this adds some value to the company when you put a face to a name.
Here is one provider that has made a good impression on me
http://www.hostdime.com/why/our-team/
If you know of other web hosts who have such a page, then please add it in this thread.

HG has something similar: http://www.hostgator.com/management-team.shtml
They can't list their whole team, because there are over 250+ people, but the important ones are there.

Hello,
I completely agree. It's very reassuring to see who actually runs the company.

Yea, I totally agree it does build up a nice way to see who is hosting your web sites and just some reassurances in a way.
We actually are in process of updating the web site to have a page to introduce our staff and an image, a few clients had mentioned it to us as well.
Always interesting to see who it was you talked to on the phone, or who it's posting things on here that you talked toDavid Byrne | Dedispec, LLC.

Given that the web is so impersonal, I think it is a good idea to put some faces and information about team members. It's one thing when the company is a black box, and another when you can see the faces behind it.
Of course, in some cases it could all be fake, but even so it would do its marketing magic.

I would be perfectly satisfied with a detailed page describing the network.

I wouldn't be bothered but if it means sites stop plasting half naked air brushed models on their sites I'm all for it
Kind Regards

Team pages mean little to me. I know, slightly odd coming from someone who has been so close to his hosts, up to pure friendship levels. I view those team pages with pictures and a blurb of bio as little more then fluff. Often I find myself doubting the veracity of the pages, and it begins to slowly bother me if I take too much interest.
Like HS-CB Matt, I'd rather know about the network. Let me know about the datacenter (no virtual tour or massive pictures), and your racks and I'm solid. In the end I may never submit one ticket to support, or learn a single name from the company. I will keep in mind what is inside your rack(s), or colos.WHT is now used as the Universal Hosting Helpdesk.

As a general statement, if you doubted the truthfulness of a company's team page, then I'd venture out and say you wouldn't have (or shouldn't) choose that company in the first place. I do believe having a team page of at least management provides a more personal touch with your clients and that can really create a connection with them. Of course, the company's reputation and service quality has to be good in the first place so the team page isn't going to make a difference if you can't provide good service.

Team page increases trust level - I agree!
█ Ask for Server IP & Nameservers IP to check if your reseller provider truly provides 100% white-label.
