Question Unknown error or disk quota exceeded

    Hello

I have a VPS with cpanel/whm when I want to upload a file for example joomla cms I face with this error ( unknown Bytes: 0% Complete FAILED! :Unknown error or disk quota exceeded ) but I can upload file smaller than 1 mb.

So how can I fix this problem?

    have you over quota?

Or, try to remove .ftpquota under the /home/user and try again.

This maybe due to your php maxupload size
IIRC it is set to 6 MB by default, which would explain the error. Just increase it from php.ini

I'm not sure if I understood you completely. You are uploading a file in Joomla and its giving you an error? Or you are uploading through FTP when getting this error? Or are you uploading from cPanel's file manager? :/ Sorry I'm kind of confused now.

OK, well cpanel's file manager has upload limits as well. You should be able to see the maximum file size upload on the upload page at the top. If the file exceeds that size you can change the max upload size in WHM.
