I am trying to find a template to start my shared hosting website. I have tried one that is joomla based, but I would like some uniqueness, and I don't want to spend hundreds of dollars hiring a designer. thanks!

Unfortunately, uniqueness isn't cheap no matter where you go. Your best bet is just to get something rather nice and edit that until you can afford a unique design.

I find it best to have a custom made design though. Branding is essential and using free designs or designs that are sold to hundreds of other people will not provide the proper branding needed.


You could ask some website designers if they sell there templates multiple times and if they do, ask if you could pay slightly extra to make sure they are not.

Paying for templates is worth it. You don't want to use a template that 2,000 other people use.

Joomla! has some super neat templates that are beautiful and elegant. If your looking for a nice template, Joomla! is a good starting point

You can try the www.buytemplates.net/. like wdint said, it is definitely worth it to buy templates to boost your business.
