    Dedicated Server provider with slow responses

    Is it common for dedicated server providers sales and billing to be painstakingly slow? It's been over 12 hours from 100TB/Midphase and i've still had no invoice. When i contacted another provider the same day, their sales and billing were extremely responsive with their emails/communication.

    It'd be much more convenient if i simply paid now then the process would be much smoother setting up the server during next week.

    Unfortunately i'll need to wait if billing is out of office.

    Hi CH-Shaun,

    Some providers do not have all the server configurations they offer thoruhg their websites on stock, or might just sold them. You know that it depends of the size of the company. I should admit that when someone wants to order a dedicated server from us on Friday, in most cases they get the machine on Monday!

    So, you'd better be tolerant and wait for your provider to set the machine up.

    It wasn't about the server setup time though, it was the invoicing as stated in my previous post above.

    Thomas has rectified the issue now.

    Sales and billing are usually available only during the weekdays (i.e. working days) for most businesses. It's not surprising that you don't get your invoice yet.

    Yeah, it's currently Sunday so I doubt they will be available at this day
    There are exceptions though, but I'm sure you'll get your invoice on Monday

    Thomas has already sent the invoice manually and all is well

    I didn't automatically get an invoice since i ordered a server which wasn't publicly listed on 100TB's website.
