GnuPG Help
Ok, this isn't really Hosting security related, but it is a security question. I understand the basic concept of encryption, but I don't understand how to use GnuPG keys. In cpanel, I can generate a key - a public key and a private key. But what I don't understand is how I use those keys to send an encrypted email, for example. I built the key based on a specific email address, but then what do I do with these keys to actually encrypt an email?

It depends on the e-mail client. I'm not sure about the web clients provided cPanel supports by default however most standalone desktop clients support GPG/PGP. Alternatively there are plugins for most popular mail clients to enable this functionality.
I personally use Enigmail for Thunderbird and GPGMAIL for Mail.app.
They're simply wrappers around the CLI utility usually - nothing fancy█ Cody R.

For example, if I use MS Outlook, how would I employ the keys that cPAnel GnuPG generates to send encrypted mail?
