Following a period of poor support from my previous hosting company of four years (Sonnet UK) I moved my reseller account a week ago to webhost.uk.net

Although early days yet I have used the live chat facility three times during normal working hours and been very pleased with this service. The chat support has started within one minute of opening the window and in each occasion the queries or problems have been fully resolved within a short space of time. I cannot comment about how fast replies would be answered out of business hours. All my sites have good page loading times and no problems to-date with POP3 email outages.

Coincidentally, on checking the migration of my twelve sites to the new host, I noted that WebHostUK were co-located in the same London data centre as my previous host, Sonnet. I am hoping this is a good omen as the one factor in Sonnet's favour was that during four years I rarely experienced site outages.

I'll post an update at the end of this year, but definitely pleased with the hosting. Without tempting providence, POP3 and HTTP loading remains consistently good, which is encouraging. I had to use the ticket system today to get a server limit increased to run Wordpress, the change was made after some hours, but was happy as I felt it was a low priority matter.

That's an interesting coincidence with the same data center. Just goes to show you how uptime really isn't everything, support plays a major role.
