SSH error

Hi,

I tried to change my SSH port. I edited the following file
/etc/ssh/sshd_config

Uncommented and changed the line
#port 22 to port 6393

Saved the file. Restarted SSH, But SSH is not starting. It is showing as sshd has failed, please contact the sysadmin.

Any solution???

If its a WHM server, log into your WHM and call this URL on your browser:

Ofcourse, replace 'server.hostname.com' with your server IP or hostname.

Restart the server from WHM or your remote reboot panel

Try to check the logs using tail -f /var/log/messages this will help you to trace the problem.
