Have you asked your host if they provide these types of licenses? There is a good chance that if you are with a solid host they have a Services Provider Licensing Agreement.

Approach your server provider.
Your only other alternative is to sign up for Microsoft's SPLA.

If you use Datacenter Edition you can run an unlimited amount of virtual guest machines. They don't offer Datacenter edition licensing?

Most hosts I've dealt with would allow the purchasing of the Datacenter license on the host VPS server, and then when the client would want an additional VM they would simply input their Datacenter SPLA key for the client. (as the client isn't supposed to be getting access to the actual key itself)

And if your provider has not licensed their host machine with Datacenter edition, each VM will be required to be individually licensed. As mentioned above, in most such cases, your host should be able to provide you with these licenses (at additional fees if any). I'm amazed that your provider cannot do this since most Windows providers have SPLA with Microsoft..

Just use the trial versions, they are good for 180+ days (6 months)

Hi!!
anybody know if there are any limitation (censure by microsft) to install Windows 7 in my VPS servers?

I'm looking to provide Windows 7 installs without license, and if the customer wants, he buy directly in a shop a Windows 7 license for his own VPS...

Thanks for the info!!
