100 GB Traffic is too much for a web site.

Web site having 100 unique hits per day needs only 1 GB of traffic per month. So, please recalculate the figures.

How do you say that ? how are you sure that he doesn't offer free downloads on his site ?

If he has got a file for 3 MB and 1000 people download it on daily basis, it will be 90 GB monthly ! you better ask him what kind web site he has got instead of asking him to recalculate figures.

My 2 cents !!!

100gb on top of bandwidth intensive also will use the CPU a fair amount. I agree going with a dedicated server. I have this forum that used 100gb a month on just a few hundred users. (active but not concurrent). In the end got kicked out by the webhost
