FS: Dell Power Edge 2950 w/ Rails

Who / What is for sale:

Dell Power Edge 2950
ST: 2PYMRD1

The gist of the server is that it's a 2 dual core cpu, with 16 GB memory. It has 6x500 hard drives and a raid 5 card. Any other details can be found below or at support.dell.com. Note that I upgraded the ram to 16G.

When:

Transfer ownership the moment payment clears.

Where:

Currently located at Continuum data centers near Downers Grove, IL

Why:

I used this server when I was running my web hosting business which I sold. I no longer have any use of this, as I am keeping the smaller server I had for my personal sites and needs. This server ran fine for all these years, and has 75 days left of silver and 4 hour support. You can renew this within this time frame. This server is 3 years old and was barely utilized during this time.

How much:

I'm asking $2000 but I'll entertain offers.

Misc:

I'll rack up this server and the rails and power cords and ship it to you at my cost if you meet my price. Or, I can put you in contact with the hosting provider and you can host it there at their facility. I'll do a fresh OS build for you and hand you over the credentials.

The only thing that varies from the dell site look up is that I upgraded Ram to 16G.
