Windows 2008 VPS as remote desktop?
Hi everyone,
If I order a Windows 2008 VPS, may I login to it remotely and use it as a remote desktop (keyboard and mouse)? If so... how?
Thanks!

Yes, you would just have to open the app in your local pc, type the IP and put the login, and you are done.

Why are both of you using that instant phone verification payment checkout interface
If you could make a "security" exception, I'm taker!

Hello,
I'm not sure what you mean... We don't use any phone verification payment...

Greetings, Most hosts will not make security exceptions as there is normally a reason they put it in place to start with. You could also look into a Linux Remote Desktop as the cost is often less unless you specifically require Windows however this can take more work to set up...

I would suggest windows 2003 instead as the OS has less overhead and preforms slightly better then 2008 on a virtual environment.

Using Remote desktop is similar to using RD on a dedicated server. Open "Remote Desktop Connection" in your PC, enter ip address of your VPS, userid and password ... and you will be in ....
