Servers for sale inside QuadraNet (Los Angeles)
Hello,
We are changing our operations in Los Angeles due to a failed project, so we are selling the equipment that is there. The servers were built and deployed in March 2010, so they are still fresh.
We have in there, for appraisal:
6x units of Supermicro 0.5U case with X8SIL-F motherboard (KVM over IP embedded), 8GB RAM (4x2GB), 2x1TB HDDs. 4 of them have never been used.
1x Force10 S50 switch, layer 3 image of SFTOS (doesn't take FTOS), 48 Gigabit ports, 2x10GigE stacking ports, and empty spaces for up to two expansion modules; these expansion modules can be 2x10GE each.
They are located at the 6th floor of QuadraNet (530 W 6th St, Los Angeles, CA). No shipping, we would prefer someone local to pick up.

We've got stuff at Quadranet. We might have a use for these if you could confirm the price + CPU as above

Have the 6x units of Supermicro been sold? If not, can you PM the expected price? Thanks.

Let me know also what price you're looking for. I can purchase all 6 and depending on the price i'll also take the Force10. Although will need this to be shipped but i'm willing to pay.

You can bid on PM if wanted. The expected price for the whole lot including the switch is around $6k.
Shipping is a bit tricky, the handling and packing per server will be around $50 and the shipping itself can be up to another $50 depending on where in the US it is going to be shipped.
I will give preference to whomever wants to buy the whole lot (thus Peter is "on the list" for a second option of selling individual servers).

I have few servers in QuadraNet already so it would be easier to just transfer.
What are your pricing you are looking for and are the rams DDR 2 or 1?

1U half-depth (14"). I really don't recall the chassis model and it's not on the original invoice. It is _not_ hotswap and has space for 2x3.5" HDDs or 4x2.5" ones if you buy the special Supermicro bracket.

Gotcha, so we are probably talking about Supermicro SC512 chassis, nice.
So what do you want for all 6 and shipping to 07094?
Let me know.
