What server to get


Hi all.
Need help to find what im looking for
Im on a kind of low budget under 150-200$...
What i need is
at least 250GB storage
2TB bandwidth minimum
Im gonna host 1-2 sites with much uploading and downloading.
Not sure how good i need or what place would fit me best?
Europe would be prefered but not req.
swiftway hosting?

Yes i have, mostly VPS, some time ago i had dedicated. Linux is prefered also. By unmanaged and managed you mean what? So i understand you correctly.
Often without control panel. But some cpanel

That should be doable with a quad core. If you need 250GB storage then you should be looking at a disk of size 300GB at least. RAID-1 would be a nice addition to avoid disk related disruptions.

He's asking whether you need server management with your server. Management usually costs extra depending on the level of management (managed vs fully managed). For example, if you're skilled at managing and maintaining your server you don't need server management.

Yea a dual raid would been good. Suggestions on good hosts? And what price would I be looking at you think guys? As my budget is low:p

$200 is reasonable. In Europe, OVH has some cheap configurations but I'm not sure about the quality of service as I don't have direct experience with them. US options are plenty but it depends on whether you want the server managed or not. Keep us posted on your decision!

I'm fine without management. I can do that myself.
