cmd closes trying to run a trace route

I had my team running through trace route results from their ISP's to cross check the connections

few of my team members reported, their cmd closes down when give the command:
    tracert domain.com

I am not sure how to address this issue, so that I could get down a result from them

plz give me an alternate solution, they aren't admins, so I guess they can not be given any sort of server access to run this down.

Are the executing the trace route command from their local Windows machines? If yes, ask them to goto the command prompt instead of just executing the tracert command under the Run option.

Click Start >> Run >> type 'cmd' and hit enter.
In the command prompt window, they can execute the tracert command. If I am wrong in understanding your question, please correct me...

yeah I get what you r trying to explain and it was the same question I asked too.
I had given out this top, to run directly from Accessories and check it out, I wanted to post this topic, as I wanted an alternate if even it failed for them

    Hi,

You can tell your clients to download winmtr from winmtr.sourceforge.net. Open the exe file and enter their domain as host. Let it run for 10 or 15 min and let them mail your result.

    Hope this helps.
