I restart my computer every few days to clear some of the memory hogged by DLL left by programs that have closed.

I leave my computer on because I leave most of my tasks in open windows.

Laptop off nightly, usually on for most of the day. Server next to me just got setup at the new house, but its previous uptime was well over 70 days. (I reboot it for security updates)

For my home pc, I don't turn it off and unplug it, I do, however, pm-suspend when not in use. This also keeps the uptime..which isn't why I do it xD

This desktop has been running for around 45~ days, non-stop. However, had to reboot it 2-3 times considering Windows updates happens to be a bitch.

The last time I turned it off for more than 5 minutes was for replacing the hard drive. RAID really saves your ass!
