Sparkgate bought by NeetHost. Scam ongoing

Email from SparkGate/NeetHost below. I made the mistake of pre-paying for a year of SparkGate service (in April) which Neethost refuses to honor.

Apparently Neethost has a history of scamming... (do a search for 'neethost' on this board -- I don't have permissions yet to post a link to another thread).

--------------
I'm Amanda Rose and you get this email because your have an account with SparkGate.

I have discussed it with SparkGate owner that I will take over their business in order to establish new company under NEET Host LLC. Although I personally only have a few experience in hosting related business but you will see the same support staff like Mr. Chris & Miss Asako as our executive staff working to help me out handling previous SparkGate client.

Together, we will start to transfer some of client from SparkGate Hosting Solutions as we already takeover the management of SparkGate. This also means that you will have a new record with us and we are absolutely not liable for any damage caused by previous owner neither we will try to make every single data which is lost available again.

Some of available server will be sold to me this mean any client in it will be transfered to NEET Host. You are free to either continue the services at a new term or terminate it by end of this month *only for vps client. USA server shared, reseller client need to provide provide of advance payment to us so that we can make necessary changes to your account.

Only 1 Germany server will be transfered besides 3 USA server so if you have an account in another location, you are is not included in our client takeover list and you can ignore this email.

Due to the difference in billing information we are unable to get your account information from previous owner, please make sure you have the information for you account updated with us. A new plan new, new prices will be introduced to you but I will try to make sure that this new prices match the quality of our services.

I do regret this happen to you but we at NEET Host will try to make things right with your help.

Regards,

Amanda Rose

Note* You are no longer will be able to access SparkGate billing server after your receive this email. We are transferring all license and server in the mean time. All communication must be redirected to our Customer Care services at cc@neethost.com once the transfer has been done we will contact you with more information.

I understand your frustration over the takeover process however you must understand that inside the agreement with SparkGate owner Mr. Suhaimi B. Bujang, we only agree to transfer the server ownership along with other information to continue the server. There is no billing account info or any profit transfer involved. This a reason why we request you to provide us with your account details again so that we can add this information to your newly created account.

Any issue or advance payment you made with previous owner is not our liabilty.

Not to sound like a broken record but this is one of the reasons it just doesn't pay to pre-order services. Month to month is the way to go.

Well, I bought some services from Sparkgate, they were soooo good! nice support, everything was good, but I don´t know what happened, one day they just disappeared.. 2 weeks or more! that was sooo frustrating, sometimes the server was offline, or Online.. but no one behind, I had to contact their DC, first I went to SingleShop, They gave me a very good and friendly support!, but unfortunately my server wasn´t hosted with them , so I contacted BurstNET (as the server was in Scraton, PA, I was trying to find out a DC located there xD so I found them...), but they told me the can´t do anything and I had to contact my main provider... It seems they didn't understand they disappeared xD, then I saw the server was Online again.... I made some backups but the server went offline again... I´m waiting a response from Neethost to enable some extra days for my account to can make the backups and leave...

Sparkgate was not a Scam, their services were good for me, everything was fine, if the server went offline they were there to solve the problem, they were friendly and professional with me, just that some day they just ...... left us here to die xD... Its a shame, but.. well, what can we do...

Good bye!

That certainly doesn't seem very encouraging

And I find that remark outrageous that you would suggest the client do a chargeback because you refuse to honor the existing service contract until it expires after your takeover.

Why honor the existing billing agreements with shared and resellers but not vps's?

Did you read the next line? Or you refuse to read the next line. Which ever you did, doesn't even matter to me.

Because me and SparkGate is a difference form of company and ppl asking for a refund from me so I have to made it clear to whom they should contact or charge-back. Why should I honor any contract that is not belong to me?

Why should I reveal the reason why to you? Is there any specific reason why you need to know or you just enjoying yourself flamming others thread post?
