Need to test reseller CP so who????
I just want to test the control panel for a reseller so I am looking to find a reseller that is cheap, offers c-panel and auto install scripts no matter which. I do not intend to sell to anyone yet I just want to get the hang of a resellers controll panel.
Who would you recommend?

Check the Reseller offers in the ad section.

You can get Reseller Hosting from host who offers moneyback/refund policy. It means that you try them for a week and then request refund or take up host who offers a free trial since demo you do not have the full access/rights.

Bear in mind that different hosting providers would provide you with different access/permissions in WHM, although the basic ones (account creation, etc) would be expected as a bare minimum. The link provided by M Bacon should more than suffice - I don't see the need for you to spend since you simply want to have a look at cPanel/WHM.

Valid. You can find out a lot just from the cPanel.net website. If you were really wanting to test drive setting up accounts and such, then it would not hurt, but otherwise, it should more then suffice.

I have a question, if this client was to signup with you - and you knew he/she was going to request a refund just before the guarantee period, how would you feel?

I only offer 3 days moneyback guarantee; so not a problem unless he/she opens 10 tickets and request a refund after that.

Thanks guys!
I decided to use rack0.com I found them in the offers section. It offered reseller for 5.95 month. Perfect price for testing. I am in Ohio and their servers are in michigan so I figured what the heck. If the uptime holds and all seems well I may even keep em. i will let you know!

No harm in that, as long as you're aware they must put hundreds of those 500GB/5000GB per server. The account can be fine for hosting your own personal sites that don't receive huge traffic. I wouldn't risk putting more than a couple web hosting customers on a $6 reseller account though.

Good that you found one. If you are satisfied with them, I think you should continue with them. Keep us posted about their services when you host with them. Good luck.
