FTP Server hosting

I'm looking for a cheap solution to backup my data that is on my online server. A FTP server would be preferable. I've had a look around the internet for one but they all come attached with a website and thats something I don't need. I simply need online storage space with FTP access a preferable unlimited bandwidth with at least 200GB. Can anyone suggest anything?

How do you define "cheap". There are some back-up service providers I have seen, but never used any of them.

Check in the offers section. And yes, it will be nice if you tell us your budget.

Don't look for a cheap shared web hosting solution for doing remote backups. Even the so called "unlimited" ones will limit the amount of space and bandwidth you can use, and will require that the web hosting account is used for hosting a web site. What you need to look for is a online backup or file storage solution.

200GB is a lot. FTP is perhaps not the best solution. Check for Cloud or Backup Solutions. Or perhaps a small Dedicated or Virtual Server, they are not that expensive anymore.

Yeah I agree, avoid any sort of virtual server or shared hosting. Most of them will limit you if you try to upload 200Gb worth of data. I would stick with a provider that is setup for backups.

Thats EXACTLY what I'm looking for. Thanks so much! But I'm looking for somewhere with maybe a little space for cheaper. If anyone can find that then it'd be fantastic. I've had a look over the internet myself but I can't find anything.

So called backup service providers can really offer cheap price for the backup services and there are plenty of them already. I believe you will be able to find them easily by doing google search.

You should take a look at SmartFile for FTP Hosting Storage or FTP upload. They allow you to use any FTP program to connect and upload larges and they have a very easy to use web interface.
