It's catchy, but a .org isn't too much use if you want to start a business out of the domain.

Good to see you again, Aplusmedia. You've missed OpenAccess.NET (sold for US$1,000 1 day after posting here: http://www.webhostingtalk.com/showth...530#post719530)
UH-Matt: you might want to check out http://dnx.org itself to see what dnx COULD mean ...
And yes, it's a dot-org, so it's priced at US$199; ALL 3-letter CNO are snapped the moment they expire (if ever).
FYI: hkg.org and alt.org were sold for US$1,000 each.

I guess it depends more on the meaning (or association) of the letters and the numbers. For instance, b-52.org might be worth more even with the hyphen and numbers.

Wouldn't knowing the owners of dnx.com make you a little nervous?

FYI grandad, I have been legally threatened and/or actually sued (court case, NOT UDRP) more than a couple of times before, but I don't see any problem with dnx.org.

3 letter .net's sell on ebay for $30 to $40. I sold www.rqu.net and www.lwq.net both for $38 and $49 on ebay. And I see others go even cheaper.
