I purchased a plan and my ip location is in Canada.

From the information on the web, the data center of Arvixe is on Softlayer.

I got a suboptimal download speed from the server in Canada.

Anyone has experience on purchasing service from USA hosting company and got ip located in other country?

I have a server from a Canadian company, and the IP geolocates to Canada, but the server is physically in Germany.

However the company setup the IP is how it will show up in geolocation searches.

I wouldn't recommend Arvixe, they got bad reviews recently.

Have you inquired with ARVIXE people about this? If your website is hosted on IWEB DC, you can request them to switch to US Data centers.
