Right now I own a full dedicated server running my clients. I'm not going to lie, but people are using our free hosting more than our paid hosting services. I was wanting to place one real small advertisement on the bottom of every clients website that signs up for free hosting. I heard there is a script to do it, but how can I do it? Please help.
**Sorry if wrong section. Im new*

Hello Chris,
I have also heard of such scripts and I think that an advert at the bottom of your customer’s sites is reasonable. It may be a good idea to post this question at http://www.freewebhostingtalk.com/ as it is the free hosting version of WHT.
Regards,
Jack

Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but there is a control panel called ipanel that does this: http://www.ihostdev.com/ipanel.html
But then the adverts would be on ALL accounts, which is probably not what you want.

Theirs any easier way for your troubles, Just make it an requirement that all your free clients put a backlink in their footer on their site, If their not willing to do that, then their not willing to have it on their site.

As SLDHosting suggests ask for backlinks or ask them to implement your adsense code on their site.

Okay, just to show what I would like to be placed on the websites is something like what is showing on this website:
forum.elitekingdoms.com/
Sorry, not trying to advertise. Look at the bottom.

Are you using Apache?
If so, have you looked into mod_layout?
I'm not sure if it works on a per-account basis, however it does do what you are looking for.

Yeah, I have appache. I haven't looked into anything about doing any kind of advertisements or anything to place anything on the packages. But, I'm needing some income off of the free hosting as well. So that is why I started to want this idea.

Hello,
we offer free hosting to some of our clients, very few actually, so I was wondering if you have any Terms of services for hosting in exchange for ads.
Also do you accept any project for free hosting?

I'm kinda unsure of what your asking?
Here is what I think your asking:
"If I have a TOS you can use in exchange for ads of my hosting?"

I apologize if I wasn't clear enough.
We provide dedicated servers to high-traffic projects, so I was wondering if there is any sort of agreement that hosting providers may use for that.

I suppose you need to visit freewebspace.net forums and check some ideas there. That is the biggest forum about free web hosting.
